Mabinay Cave

Mabinay is known as the Cave Town of Negros Oriental large part of this area consisted of limestone rocks and is rich in "karst" phenomena. In spite of extensive "karst", stereological explorations are still limited due to several reasons, like lack of financial funding and support and inaccessibility to the cav sites. Thus improvements and civil works for the development of caves are on-going. Some caves are already equipped with passave way and safety gear etc.
